International Festival of Percussion

International Festival

We’re excited to announce that the 13th edition of the International Festival of Percussion that will be taking place next year. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, we’re determined to make this event bigger and better than ever before. We’ve been working hard to overcome obstacles and deliver an unforgettable experience for all attendees.

This year’s edition will feature a new event structure and a variety of music, so there’s something for everyone to enjoy. We hope that you’ll join us for what promises to be an incredible event. The upcoming edition of the music festival will feature three different concerts. On the first day, there will be a performance by the Fedkowicz Duo and Amadrams Trio & Airis Strings Quartet. These young groups will be playing classical percussion instruments along with electronics, harps, and stringed instruments. They will each be presenting an album of their own original composition. This is sure to be a unique and thrilling concert experience for all who attend.

On day two of the festival, we take an excursion to hear some music from Indonesia and Andalusia. In a new venue, Warsaw’s Gamelan group presents a rather interesting selection of instruments. They bring the band Viva Flamenco! to Andalucii. On the final day, in memory of Janusz Muniak, a friend, teacher, and mentor, we want to remind everyone of an outstanding saxophonist. Janusz Muniak is a musician who, with his charisma, knowledge and experience, influenced the education of several generations of pianists, brass players, and percussionists.
